Anonymous Usage Data: We gather anonymous, aggregated data to understand how our platform is used. This data does not identify you personally and includes feature usage statistics, error rates, and performance metrics. We do not track individual user behavior or store user IDs in our anonymous analytics.
LocalStorage: We use LocalStorage on your device to save login tokens for authentication. This is not used for tracking purposes.
We do not use cookies or any tracking technology.

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide and improve our platform:
hCaptcha: We use hCaptcha for bot verification during account registration on the desktop application. hCaptcha may collect your IP address, browser fingerprint, and interaction data (such as mouse movements and clicks) to verify that you are human. CoinGecko: We use CoinGecko to provide cryptocurrency market data. We do not share your personal information with CoinGecko. No personal identifying information is transmitted to CoinGecko.
TradingView: We integrate TradingView for chart functionality. We do not share your personal information with TradingView.
RevenueCat: For mobile app users, we use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription transactions and may collect payment-related information in accordance with their privacy policy. We share only the minimum information necessary for subscription management.
Data Security
Your information is protected on secure servers with appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, and passwords are stored in encrypted form using industry-standard hashing (never stored in plain text).
In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Notifications will be sent to the email address associated with your account and will include:

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access our platform from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your Rights
You have the following rights over your data:
Access: You can view your personal information directly through the applications.
Correction: You can update your personal information directly through the applications. You can update your password and name through the mobile app, and manage additional account settings through the desktop app.
Deletion: You can delete your account directly through the desktop application or by emailing us at theaquarian@aquarianmetals.com. When you delete your account, all personal data is immediately and permanently removed from our systems. No data is retained after account deletion. Account deletion will also be available in the mobile app with appropriate safeguards to prevent accidental deletion, including multiple confirmation layers and a final acknowledgment that the account is unrecoverable.
Subscription Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription whenever you choose through the applications.
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Specifically:
Active Accounts: We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations.
Account Deletion: When you delete your account through the desktop application (or mobile app, when available), we immediately and permanently delete all personal data, including your name, email, password, and all associated data (portfolios, research, files, etc.). This deletion is immediate, complete, and irreversible. No data is retained after account deletion. Users are responsible for maintaining their own records for tax and accounting purposes.
Children's Privacy
Our platform is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we discover we've collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
Accessibility
We aim to make our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. As a startup, we may not implement accessibility features as quickly as we'd like, but we're committed to improving and welcome your feedback.
